CORPUS-BASED TEACHING

Hello everyone,

Our first task was to prepare a worksheet based on a corpus for our future students. This task is directly related with the subject of data driven learning, and according to this learning style, learners should be able to derive a result from the data. It enables learners to engage in the subject compared to classical methods. If students learn a topic by researching, it enables the to develop their researcher personalities and to learn the subject more effectively. Thus, the limit of knowledge determined by the information given in teacher-centered education methods is eliminated. In the language class, since the subjects that are wanted to be learned are generally related to grammar and vocabulary, a corpus offer authentic usage to the student in this regard. So, i created my first teaching material by using corpus. You can reach my work here. I hope you like it!
